There are different versions of Scid out there right now. The well-known Scid v.s PC/MAC, which works in the database format *.si4 and can therefore store 16,777,216 games, and Scid 5.0, released in 2023, which works in the new database format *.si5, which can now manage several billion games.
In addition to the database files, weekly update files are also provided here, which contain the new games since the release of the new database.
To unzip the files, Windows 7-Zip or another program that can handle the 7z format is required. On Mac, unpacking is possible with Keka, for example.

As of 03/24/2024, the complete databases will only be uploaded together with the first weekly update of the month. Instead of the complete database, please download the corresponding weekly updates.

The file “Blitz.bin” is an opening book derived from all Blitz games out of the Lichess Elite Database.
